Bank Windhoek's CellPhone Banking service  can be linked with any saving, cheque and transactional account, allowing you to do banking using a CellPhone anywhere, via the MTC network.   It also enables you to choose between Full Access and Limited Access registration.

Full Access registration offers the following benefits:

  • 3rd party payments  (Pay your bills and accounts)
  • Make payments to DStv, GoTV or DStv Box Office accounts
  • Buy pre-paid electricity from the following suppliers: City of Windhoek, Rehoboth Town Council, Oshakati Premier Electric, Cenored, Erongored and Nored
  • Send money to friends and family (beneficiary payments to accounts of a bank in Namibia and/or South Africa )
  • Balance enquiries and mini statements
  • Top up your pre-paid airtime or of a friend / family member
  • Pay your MTC contract
  • Change of your PIN number

Limited registration offers the following benefits:

  • Balance enquiries and mini statements
  • Pre-paid airtime top-up
