DONATE BLOOD TO SAVE A LIFE THIS HOLIDAY

With the high number of vehicle accidents recorded during the festive season, the Namibian Blood Transfusion Services (NAMBTS) will need a constant blood supply to meet the demand during this period. Last week, 56 Bank Windhoek clients and staff members took time from their busy schedules to donate blood over a two day period, potentially saving 168 lives (one unit of blood can save three lives).

BANK WINDHOEK EXPANDS ITS FOOTPRINT IN WINDHOEK

Bank Windhoek is proud to announce the opening of its 54th branch in the new The Grove Mall in Kleine Kuppe, Windhoek. The new branch offers clients in the south of Windhoek convenient banking and will also cater for the businesses that will be operating at the new shopping mall, which is expected to be the biggest in the country and one of the biggest in Africa.

BANK WINDHOEK STAFF ASSIST THE NEEDY IN THEIR COMMUNITIES

Bank Windhoek believes that together we can make the world a better place by being compassionate and considerate towards the needy and less privileged members of our society. The annual Bank Windhoek ‘Empathy Project’ encourages staff members to positively assist members of their communities.  This year’s project took place from 20 October 2014 to 21 November 2014.

EFFORTS PAY OFF IN BANK WINDHOEK’S 12 WEEK WEIGH LOSS CHALLENGE

After 12 weeks of hard work, the results of their effort are finally visible for many Bank Windhoek staff members who participated in the 12-Week Weight Loss Challenge which started on 8 September 2014.
