Bank Windhoek will host an informative live talk on International Trade with a particular interest in the African Continental Free Trade Area (AfCFTA) with the Honourable Lucia Iipumbu, Minister of Industrialisation and Trade, as the keynote speaker. The event will take place on Thursday, 19 October 2023, and broadcast live on Bank Windhoek’s Facebook and LinkedIn social media platforms.
The AfCFTA is a game-changing initiative to foster economic integration across the African continent. Bank Windhoek’s live talk will bring together experts, thought leaders, and industry professionals to explore its significance, challenges and opportunities. The panel of speakers includes experts with deep insights into international trade and AfCFTA.
Topics to be discussed by industry professionals include vital milestones and Namibia’s implementation of the AfCFTA Agreement, and how all Namibian stakeholders can work together to make the Agreement even more lucrative for the agricultural sector. Agro processing as an enabler for continental value chains and how it impacts Namibia’s AfCFTA implementation efforts, is one of the discussion points.
