Bank Windhoek has announced the appointment of Geb Ilunga as Head of Digital Marketing Channels, effective Monday, 1 June 2026. This strategic appointment underscores the Bank’s commitment to enhancing its digital engagement capabilities and delivering seamless, customer-centred experiences across all its platforms.
Ilunga brings over 12 years of experience in marketing, digital strategy, and business development. He holds a Bachelor of Commerce in Marketing and Management from Monash University (South Africa), a certificate in Agile Project Management from the University of Cape Town and is currently pursuing a Master of Business Administration (MBA) at the International University of Applied Sciences in Germany.
Since joining Bank Windhoek as Website Manager in 2024, Ilunga has played a pivotal role in improving the performance of the Bank’s websites and intranet, enhancing user experience, increasing digital visibility, and strengthening online engagement. He has led content development aligned with business objectives and search optimisation best practices, while driving continuous improvements in user experience, navigation, and digital innovation.
In his new role, Ilunga will oversee the strategy and performance of Bank Windhoek’s digital marketing channels, including the website, intranet, social media, email, SMS, and emerging customer engagement platforms. His appointment is expected to further strengthen the Bank’s ability to connect with customers through innovative, relevant, and accessible digital experiences.
